Serving the Japan-Washington State relationship since 1923, the Japan-America Society of the State of Washington is one of the oldest non-profits in Washington State dedicated to promoting business, cultural and personal ties between the people of Japan and Washington State. The Society is a cornerstone of the community and has been a resource for individuals, families and businesses alike through its varied program offerings and valuable networking opportunities.

Individual Membership Categories
  • Regular $60
    An individual under 65 years of age
  • Family $75
    Includes any number of family members living together
  • Student $20
    Any undergraduate / post graduate student currently enrolled
  • JETAA $20
    Restricted to JET Program alumni for one year only. Offer only applies within one year of returning from JET employment
  • Japan Young Professionals Group $30
    Any person age 30 or younger
  • Senior $30
    Any individual 65 years of age and older
  • President’s Circle $1,000
    Applicant and applicant’s family members entitled to all Board of Directors benefits
  • Executive Circle $500
    Applicant and applicant’s family members entitled to all Board of Directors benefits

Membership Dues: Dues are for one calendar year. Dues for new corporate members joining after June 30 will be prorated at 50%.
